On July 27, 2024, the 2nd Annual Jenna Wade Memorial Golf Invitational was held at Northern Lights Golf Complex to honor and remember Jenna and to celebrate her 40th Birthday.
It was an amazing fun filled day. Jenna's family and friends came together for some golf, laughter, food, drinks, music and dancing...so many of Jenna's favorite things. She was surely smiling down on us with her big, beautiful smile.
We want to thank everyone who helped make this special day possible! The list is too long to name, as the support was overwhelming. With your generosity, $10,575.00 was raised for the Sinai Health Foundation. Once a cumulative donation of $25,000.00 is reached, it will be recognized on the donor wall in the lobby of Mt. Sinai Hospital in Jenna's honor. In just two years, the tournament has raised $21,200.00. Jenna and Sawyer's care at Mt. Sinai was incredible and we know many families from Thunder Bay have and will benefit from this world class facility.
Jenna's nieces Anna and Casey set up their lemonade stand at the tournament once again to raise money for the Northern Cancer Fund. Your generous donations were matched by Haveman Brothers Forestry which totalled $4,896.00. In combination with last year the girls have raised a whopping $6,946.00. So proud of them!
Thank you again to all who joined us on that special day, for donating, volunteering and most importantly for the continuous love and support shown to the Wade and Burgsteden Families.

Anna & Casey's Lemonade Stand
We are looking forward to the 3rd Annual Jenna Wade Memorial Golf Invitational and Anna & Casey are so excited to host their 3rd Annual Lemonade Stand to continue to raise money for The Northern Cancer Fund! We are SO proud to say that the girls Lemonade Stand has raised $6946.30 to date!
Just as in the past two years, Anna & Casey will set up their Lemonade Stand in the Northern Lights Golf Course parking lot from 8:45am to Noon where they will be serving up delicious lemonade in exchange for monetary donations for the Northern Cancer Fund. Once again, Haveman Brothers will generously match all donations.
Last fall, TBRHSC invited the girls to present a "Giant Cheque" for $4896.00 acknowledging the funds they raised in 2024. Recently the girls went back for the plaque installation on the Garden of Hope wall. The money raised in the first two years combined exceeded the amount needed to upgrade the plaque from a leaf to a Tulip. Tulips were Jenna's favorite flower, making this year's installation extra special.
You can view this plaque on the Garden of Hope wall in the cancer ward at the TBRHSC. It reads "Annual Lemonade Stand in Memory of Aunty Jenna Wade."
