We would first like to say Thank You to those who joined us at the 1st Annual Jenna Wade Memorial Golf Invitational.
It was a wonderful day as Jenna's family and friends came together to celebrate her beautiful life, sharing stories and memories while enjoying a fun filled day of golf, food, drinks, music and dancing...so many of Jenna's favourite things.
Our main goal for the tournament was to honor Jenna on her 39th birthday and raise a little money for charity in her memory.
Well, we were absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of those who donated money, food, services, prizes and their time. Because of this, we were able to donate $10,625 to the Sinai Health Foundation, half of which to the NICU. Jenna and Sawyer received outstanding personal care at Mount Sinai and we were grateful for that as well as the immense kindness shown to the entire family.
Once a cumulative donation to the Sinai Health Foundation (including last year) of $25,000 is reached, it will be recognized on the donor wall in the lobby of Mount Sinai Hospital.
A portion of the entry fee will be donated to help reach this goal.
Thank you also to those who made tax deductible donations to the Jenna Wade Memorial Fund for the kids.

Anna & Casey's Lemonade Stand
At last year's 1st Annual Jenna Wade Memorial Golf Invitational, two of Jenna's nieces - Anna and Casey - set up a lemonade stand to raise money for the Northern Cancer Fund in honor of their Aunty Jenna.
The girls served up glasses of lemonade and candy in exchange for donations and raised a whopping $1,025!
Haveman Brothers Forestry Services matched all donations from that day, allowing the girls to donate a total of $2,050 to the Northern Cancer Fund.
In August of 2023, the girls were invited to the TBRHSC to be presented with a "giant" cheque to acknowledge their donation. Later in April of 2024 they were invited back to install the plaque their donation earned on the wall of hope, "In memory of Aunty Jenna."
Last year's donation earned a leaf plaque on the wall of hope. We can continue to add to the donation, in hopes of upgrading to a tulip shaped plaque! Tulips were Jenna's favourite flower!
Thank you so much to family and friends for the overwhelming generosity and support that made this lemonade stand such a success!
The girls are already planning for their lemonade stand for this year's upcoming 2nd Annual Jenna Wade Memorial Golf Invitational! We hope to see you all there!
